Woman is the phenomenal ministry for women here at Breathe City Church. Woman pro-actively engages women - of all ages - with the life of the house, helping them to connect with each other and with God. We are absolutely committed to training and equipping a generation of women to be Proverbs 31 girls; strong, confident, capable, energetic, compassionate, wise; strong women who fully understand their worth in God and who love Jesus with an unquenchable passion. The Woman programme is designed to love and inspire you to become the very best woman that you can be. Woman meet once a month for a variety of different events, from fashion shows and pamper days to sit down meals or gathering-style events. However, there is more to Woman than just one event each month. Woman provides a huge amount of specific ministries to women, families and children all over our city as well as diligently serving the house in a variety of ways. These include baby baskets for expectant mothers, meals for families moving into a new home, parenting courses, adopt a granny, precious baby grieving, as well assisting mothers and women on Sundays during BCC gatherings. 2011 saw the launch of a WNL mentoring programme for young women at BCC; PR31. Taken from Proverbs 31, upon which BCC’s whole Woman ministry is built, PR31 exists to allow young women to discover their worth and to excel in all that they are. PR31 girls are carefully matched with a mentor and for one year they walk together, with a Ruth and Naomi dynamic. If you would like any more information about Woman or PR31 contact the Woman team.
