In 2010 Breathe City Church opened the Stronger House. Stronger is a residential training facility for young mums, expectant mums and young women between the ages of 16 and 25 alongside their pre-school children.
The Stronger House is located on the edge of the City of Stoke on Trent, set in beautiful rural surroundings, complete with large gardens, conservatory, spacious bedrooms and communal areas. The house is fully furnished and equipped to provide residents with everything they need day-to-day, as well as providing an environment in which they can flourish in all that they do and allowing an ideal setting for becoming stronger.
Residents complete an application process and if successful, will typically remain in the house for a twelve month period. During the year, residents will complete an in-depth and holistic programme that will cause them to live strong in every aspect of their lives from faith to relationships, motherhood to finances and all round day-to-day living. Residents do not need to be a Christian in order to be accepted into the Stronger House; however they must be willing to adhere to the programme and guidelines.
