Minty Fresh Living…

Minty Fresh Living…
February 22, 2016 Sara Jukes

This Sunday we looked at breathing out and used it as a metaphor for making sure our behaviour, our words, our actions are good and helpful to others. We also said that what we take in, often affects what we give out.

I don’t know about you but to me there are few things worse than ‘morning breath’, ‘quaver breath’ and the ultimate ‘dog breath’. You probably have your own pet hates. The thing is, it doesn’t take much to sort it out; bushing your teeth, a piece of chewing gum or a mint generally leaves you minty fresh.

It’s the same with our lives. With many things, though not all, it doesn’t take much to sort it out, to change the flavour of what we give out. To change other peoples experience of what we breathe over them.

So just like when we freshen our breath, even our pet’s breath, my aim this week is to freshen up the fragrance that my life gives out with…

Kindness, gentleness, patience, love, joy, peace and self control.

It’ll sure make us a lot more pleasant to be around. And it’s a continual thing that we all need to do in freshening up our lives as we do our breath. Consider your fragrance and start afresh today.
