As Breathe City Church grows, the need for people to step up in their roles and responsibilities, to spread the weight of the House and facilitate the Senior Pastors and Primary Leadership Team (PLT), becomes all the more greater.
Church needs people to operate with excellence, diligence and maturity. This is why at BCC we run Leadership Academy. It is a phenomenal course, run over nine sessions, that looks at various different subject points within leadership, presents challenges and ‘make it happen’ opportunities and opens your eyes to the reality of church leadership. The final session is Ps James’ favourite: Pick the Preacher!! Everyone comes with their 15 minute preach prepared and then names are drawn from the hat!
Daunting, yes.

Leadership Academy is definitely for people who want to explore leadership and their own gifting and for those who know that they are called to contribute and operate far beyond turning up.
