Breathe City Church

CAP

In October 2010 Breathe City Church opened Stoke on Trent’s first CAP Centre.

Christians Against Poverty (CAP) is the largest and most successful debt counselling charity in the UK with a network of over 150 CAP centres based in local churches. CAP offers hope and a solution to anyone in debt through its unique, in-depth and award-winning service.

CAP exists in order to demonstrate the love of God by providing sustainable poverty relief through debt counselling, advice and practical help. CAP empowers people to help themselves out of poverty and be released from the fear, oppression and worry generated by overwhelming debts.

CAP was launched in 1996 by Founder and International Director John Kirkby who came to preach at BCC to mark the launch of our CAP Centre. On that same Sunday, BCC took a huge £20,000 offering to fund the centre for a year.

Breathe City Church are proud to be working in partnership with this world-class organisation who have such a phenomenal track record for helping thousands of people out of debt.
